Nine Student-Athletes named NAIA Scholar-Athletes
Kansas City, MO – As the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2026 NAIA Scholar-Athletes list for winter sports on Tuesday morning, Calumet College of St. Joseph had nine student-athletes recognized. This honor recognizes student-athletes that have excelled academically and participated in one of the winter sports, including men's and women's basketball, men's and women's bowling, competitive cheer, competitive dance, swimming & diving and wrestling.
To qualify for the honor, a student-athlete must maintain a grade point average minimum of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and have been enrolled at their respective school for at least one academic year.
The women's and men's bowling team had the highest representation with three student-student athletes receiving scholar-athlete recognition on each team. Women's basketball had two honorees and men's basketball had one.
