15 Student-Athletes named NAIA Scholar-Athletes
Kansas City, MO – As the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2026 NAIA Scholar-Athletes list for spring sports on Wednesday morning, Calumet College of St. Joseph had 15 student-athletes recognized. This honor recognizes student-athletes that have excelled academically and participated in one of the spring sports, including softball, baseball, men's volleyball, flag football, track & field, golf, tennis, lacrosse, and beach volleyball.
To qualify for the honor, a student-athlete must maintain a grade point average minimum of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and have been enrolled at their respective school for at least one academic year.
The softball team had the highest representation with nine student-student athletes receiving scholar-athlete recognition. Baseball had five honorees and men's volleyball had one.
