Davenport earns Week 8 CCAC Baseball Player of the Week honors

Chicago, IL - Crimson Wave Junior, Bubba Davenport, was awarded the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference's Baseball Player of the Week on Tuesday, April 26th. The Crimson Wave were 5-1 in the previous week, and Davenport's work at the plate was a big factor. 

Davenport hit .667 over the 6 games, averaging 2.5 hits a game and finished the week with 16 hits in 24 at-bats with nine runs scored. Davenport had five straight multi-hit games with three, three hit-games and a four-hit game against St. Ambrose. 

Davenport was a force at the plate, but also had 11 RBIs to contribute to the Crimson Wave wins with 3 doubles, a triple, and a homerun.
