CCSJ Baseball signs Kankakee Valley's Uylaki

Wheatland, IN – The Calumet College of St. Joseph baseball program have signed Owen Uylaki for the upcoming 2026-27 season. 

Uylaki, a 6'0 right-handed pitcher from Kankakee Valley High School, said he chose CCSJ because, "I enjoyed the environment and the school/facilities seemed to be great." He plans on majoring in Business at Calumet College and is looking forward to building a bond with the team and learning new things.

At Kankakee Valley High School, Uylaki was a member of the Business Professionals of America club, as he continues to pursue a career in business. On the mound for the Kougars, Uylaki had an ERA of 1.44.
