CCSJ Sprint Football Championship Ring Fundraiser
The 2023 MSFL champions are raising funds for their championship rings.
In 2022, Calumet College of St. Joseph launched a Sprint Football team as an inaugural member of the Midwest Sprint Football League (MSFL). The MSFL includes college and university teams from Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, and Missouri. In our first year, the CCSJ Sprint Football team ended the season as regular season champions, but fell in the championship game to St. Mary-of-the-Woods 23-7.
In 2023, after an 0-3 start, the team overcame adversity and wrote its own cinderella story. CCSJ went on a six-game winning streak to the end the season, winning each game by an average margin of 22 points. They had the opportunity to face St. Mary-of-the-Woods in a championship rematch and prevailed, winning 31-0 to become the 2023 Midwest Sprint Football League Champions!
