Crimson Wave Sprint Football Hosts Junior Day
Whiting, IN – The Calumet College of St. Joseph Sprint Football program is hosting Junior Day on Friday, April 25.
This is now the second time in program history that the Crimson Wave have hosted a Junior Day event, giving student-athletes an opportunity to learn more about the CCSJ Sprint Football program as well as the school and coaching staff.
This year's Junior Day is focused on the incoming class of 2026 and unsigned 2025 student-athletes.
Throughout the day, student-athletes will receive a full tour of the campus and dorms, while speaking with current players, newly committed players and head coach Jason Novak, along with recruiting coordinator and wide receiver coach Zackary Jennings. They'll also spend time with CCSJ staff and faculty members, including financial aid, housing and admissions.
The coaching staff of the sprint football program believe Junior Day will bridge the gap between the 2025 and 2026 classes.
"Days like this will only help grow the sport and expand the recruiting pool," Jennings said. "We'd love to have more men from the state of Indiana and the region, but we want to show all states what we have to offer and why this is a great place to be."
Student-athletes can check-in as early as 9:30 a.m. at the Student Success Center (library) in the main building and then will be introduced to various staff members at 10:00 a.m. Lunch will also be provided around 12:15 p.m.
Those interested can register at the link below.
Online registration will close on April 23, but those who do not register in time can still register the morning of Junior Day at the time of check-in.
