Liliana Garcia signs with Crimson Wave Women's Flag Football
Whiting, IN – The Calumet College of St. Joseph women's flag football program have signed Liliana Garcia, a transfer from Purdue University Northwest, for the upcoming inaugural 2026-27 season.
Garcia, a 5'6 rusher from Whiting, Indiana, said she chose CCSJ because, "I have the opportunity to play flag football and continue my education in kinesiology."
Garcia spent two years at PNW, but prior to that, graduated from Hammond Central High School. At Hammond Central, she was a National Honor Society member, was on the track and field team for four years and played on the golf team for three years.
At PNW, Garcia was the vice president of the Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc.
Come fall when she starts her journey at Calumet College, Garcia said she's looking forward to meeting new people and building connections.
