3 score double-digits for Crimson Wave in 69-63 loss to Wolves

The Crimson Wave traveled to Milwaukee on Wednesday for a CCAC match-up against Cardinal Stritch University. Coming off an overtime loss on Saturday, the Crimson Wave were ready to start the game off strong, but the Wolves' defense played man to man most of the game which slowed CCSJ's fast momentum. The Crimson Wave stayed ahead of Cardinal Stritch in the 1st half and went into halftime leading 31-28. The 2nd half proved a little tougher for CCSJ when Cardinal Stritch was able to capitalize on some key opportunities to take the lead over the Crimson Wave, and secure their 69-63 win over CCSJ. 

Noel Mpie led the Crimson Wave with 18 points, 1 steal, and 8 rebounds. Oshawn Lee had 11 points, 1 assist, and 8 rebounds, and Josh Alcindor had 10 points, 1 assist, and 4 rebounds. The team shot 41.8% in Total Field Goals, 35.3% in 3-Pointers, and 73.3% from the Free Throw line, while also forcing 13 turnovers and drawing 16 fouls. 

The Crimson Wave's next match-up is against Trinity Christian College on Saturday, January 15th at the Rittenmeyer Center in Whiting, IN.
