Men’s Bowling wins Storm Baker Challenge, Vergos returns for 2022 season

Crimson Wave Men's Bowling competed at the Storm Baker Challenge where a competitive field of collegiate teams posed a barrier to CCSJ winning, but with the return of 2021 National Collegiate Singles Champion Petey Vergos, the team was excited to perform their best.
After just the first day, the Crimson Wave found themselves 25 pins ahead of the #1 ranked team St. Ambrose but that was only the start for CCSJ as they continued to improve in every game. The addition of Vargos put CCSJ over the top of the other competitors and lead qualifying by nearly 300 pins over St. Ambrose, beat Lewis 3-2, defeat Mount Mercy 3-1, and sweep St. Xavier 3-0 to secure their 1st place finish.
