Crimson Wave Men's Bowling finishes 9th at Columbia 300 Western Shootout
Indianapolis, IN – The Calumet College of St. Joseph Men's Bowling team finished 9th amongst 31 teams at the Columbia 300 Western Shootout.
After the two-day event was complete, CCSJ finished in 9th place as a team with a total score of 9519.
Out of 339 bowlers, Purley Williams led the Crimson Wave with a score of 1320 to finish in 20th place. Connor Pula finished in 41st place with a score of 1273 and Alex Linnenbrink came in 45th with a score of 1269.
Dominic Stahulak placed 57th with a score of 1252 and Edward Olszewski came in 64th place after posting a score of 1241.
Nick Dudeck came in at 99th place with a score of 1182, but only bowled five games when majority of the bowlers in this competition bowled six games. One of Dudeck's five games featured a perfect score of 300 and head coach Mike Kubacki believes that was only the first of many to come for the senior.
The Crimson Wave will look to bounce back next month and have a better outing collectively at the Leatherneck Classic beginning Saturday, November 9.
