Crimson Wave Men's Bowling finishes 7th at Columbia 300 Western Shooutout
The CCSJ Men's Bowling team placed 7th at the Columbia 300 Western Shootout on Sunday, October 12.
Indianapolis, IN – The Calumet College of St. Joseph Men's Bowling team finished 7th amongst 29 teams at the Columbia Western Shootout.
The two-day event was on October 11-12 at the Royal Pin – Western and CCSJ finished in the top-10 for the second consecutive year.
On Day 1, the Crimson Wave competed in six games. After the first game, CCSJ was in 18th place, but after a stellar second game, the Wave rose to 8th place. Floating around the top-10, CCSJ was in 9th place by the end of the day with a total score of 6049.
Competing in the baker games Sunday, the Wave continued to climb in the standings as they ended the event finishing in 7th place with a score of 9302, just 42 points behind 6th place Midway University.
The men's bowling JV team finished second in a field of 13 teams with a score of 9167. Ramiro Garcia finished 18th individually and Lucas McNamara finished 20th individually amongst varsity and junior varsity bowlers, with Garcia at a score of 1294 and McNamara at a score of 1291 through six games.
