Cazares signs with Crimson Wave Men's Soccer

Whiting, IN – The Calumet College of St. Joseph men's soccer program have signed Joel Cazares for the upcoming 2025 season.

Cazares, a 5'11 forward from Michoacán, Mexico, said he chose CCSJ because, "it's close to home, has a good environment and close to my future club academy, Chicago Fire FC." He plans to major in Business Management and said he's looking forward to turning things around for the soccer program, with his new teammates and head coach Shane Cloutier. 

At Kankakee Valley High School, Cazares was named a top team player by the Indiana Soccer Coaches Association and was recognized by his own coaches and teammates as the MVP of the team.
