Men Continue to Improve Headed Into CCAC Championships

The Crimson Wave men's track and field team competed at the Indiana Wesleyan Midwest Classic today in Marian, IN.

Both groups of men were highlighted by Personal best starting with Hector Martinez (JR/Chicago, Ill. ) dropping 10secs from last week in the 3K, Adam Servin (FR/Whiting, IN) running lifetime best in both the 3k & 1mile races, and Emanual Rogers running his fastest race in the 400m. Deveyon Blacknell also placed 5^th in the 60m, 4^th in the 200m, and 9^th in the 400m and 4x4 to round out his busy weekend. Other highlights Antonio kneeland 5^th in 60H, Brenden Melvin (JR/Valparaiso, Ind.) 11^th in Long jump, Daniel Giddings (FR/Cobourg, ON) 14^th 200m, Dominic Gamez (FR/Lansing, IL) 23^rd in 1K.

"This young group continues to impress me with how they are competing this year, challenges have been high this year but this group of men refuse to settle for less and continue to run well and set new personal best. They have answered when called upon and for that I am thankful to lead them as we head into the conference meet in a few weeks"- Coach Rosado
