Saturday, Calumet College's Men's Volleyball hosted Cumberland University for their first home match of the season. After coming off of a close 3-1 loss to CCAC opponent Cardinal Stritch, the Crimson Wave come back and earn another win. The Crimson Wave narrowly took the 1st and 2nd sets 25-22 after slow starts and early errors, but with several rallies, the Wave overtook the Phoenix. In the final set, The Crimson Wave again had a slow start, but with the energy of being ahead 2-0, took advantage of Cumberland's errors and won the last set 25-19 for their first 3-0 win at home.
Francis Hauze led the Crimson Wave on the day with 21 kills and just 4 errors for a Hitting % of .472. Pedro Castillo had 32 assists, 10 digs, and 2 blocks to go along with the 3-0 win.
