Palos Heights, IL - As the #5 seed, the Calumet College Men's Volleyball team took on the #4 seed Trinity Christian in the first round of the CCAC Men's Volleyball Tournament. After losing to TCC twice during the conference season, the Crimson Wave tried to bounce back in tournament play but came up just short again losing 3-0 (25-18, 25-20, 25-23).
CCSJ had 8 kills and 9 errors in the 1st set, 13 kills and 7 errors in the 2nd set, 14 kills and 4 errors on the 3rd set.
Francis Hauze led the Wave with 11 kills, 3 digs, and 2 blocks. Pedro Castillo had 8 kills, 13 assists, and 6 digs. Diego Esquivel had 6 kills and 2 blocks.
The Crimson Wave Men's Volleyball team finished their second season back competing 7-8 overall and 6-7 in CCAC play.
