Hauze earns 1st Team All-Conference, Richardson and Allen earn 2nd Team Honors
On Tuesday, April 22, the 2025 Men's Volleyball All-Conference Postseason Awards were announced and CCSJ had three recipients receive recognition.
Chicago, IL – The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced the 2025 Men's Volleyball All-Conference Postseason awards on Tuesday, April 22 and CCSJ had three representatives honored.
Francis Hauze, a senior outside hitter from Belize City, Belize, earned his fourth first-team honors after 343 kills, 16 assists, 120 digs, 57 service aces and 46 blocks in 80 sets played. Making first-team all-conference every year as a Crimson Wave, he finished his senior year leading the team in kills, kills per set, pts, digs, digs per set, solo blocks and aces.
Nationally, Hauze ranked third for kills per set at 4.29 and fourth for aces per set with 0.71. He also earned CCAC Attacker of the Week honors twice throughout this season.
Sophomore setter Brayden Richardson, from Belize City, Belize, earned second-team all-conference honors after tallying 542 assists, which is an average of 7.74 assists per set, as the team's primary setter. He also had 23 kills, 89 digs, 15 service aces and 21 total blocks.
Richardson earned CCAC Setter of the Week honors once during the year.
Junior middle blocker Reshawn Allen, from Chicago, Illinois, earned second-team all-conference honors in his first year as a Crimson Wave. He finished the season with 121 kills, 28 digs, eight assists, 13 service aces and 51 total blocks.
Allen had the third most kills on the team, along with the second highest block total of anyone on the team.
The Crimson Wave finished their season 9-14 overall, 6-6 in CCAC play, and 5th overall in the CCAC standings. CCSJ took down Judson in the CCAC Tournament Quarterfinals, before falling to Saint Xavier in the semifinals.
