Sytsma finishes top 100 at NAIA Cross Country Nationals

Crimson Wave Freshman Isaac Sytsma traveled to Vancouver, WA last weekend to compete at the NAIA Men's Cross Country National Championships.

Sytsma crossed the finish line with a time of 26:45.1 for a 94th place finish of 330 runners who competed. Sytsma's freshman year campaign not only included qualifying for Nationals but also a record-breaking run in CCSJ Men's Cross Country history, setting the 8K record to 25:57.60.

After a short holiday break, Sytsma and the Cross Country teams will shift gears towards training for the upcoming track season.
