CCSJ Cross Country signs Hammond's Lopez

Hammond, IN – The Calumet College of St. Joseph cross country program has signed Frank Lopez to the incoming class for the 2026-27 season. 

Lopez, a 5'8 distance runner from Hammond, Indiana, hasn't decided on his major yet, but chose CCSJ because, "I feel it was the right choice for me."

At Hammond Central High School, Lopez was an all-conference 400m and 800m track and field runner all four years. Outside of sports, he was a National Honor Society member.
