Aubrie Morales receives first CCAC Player of the Week award of 2024
Freshman MI/OF Aubrie Morales received CCAC Softball Player of the Week honors for her performance this past weekend in against Oakland City and IUPUC.
Chicago, IL – Aubrie Morales of the CCSJ softball team received the first Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Softball Player of the Week award for 2024, the league office announced on Tuesday.
Morales received the honor for her performance throughout the four games this past weekend, which included a doubleheader against Oakland City on Saturday, February 24 and a doubleheader against IUPUC on Sunday, February 25. The Dyer, IN native amassed four extra base hits, including three doubles and a home run. Morales also notched five RBIs, three walks and eight runs scored. In all, the Crimson Wave freshman went 7-for-14 (.500) and got on base .588 percent of the time.

The Crimson Wave are currently 4-5 overall and their next game is against Warner on Friday, March 1.
