Novak Signs Salvador as First Commit
Brandon Salvador, a Quarterback from Skipstone Academy in Griffin, Georgia, will be Coach Novak's first player to sign with the Crimson Wave Sprint Football team.
Brandon Salvador, a Quarterback from Skipstone Academy in Griffin, Georgia, will be Coach Novak's first player to sign with the Crimson Wave Sprint Football team.
In Salvador's senior season with the Warriors, Salvador had 2,319 Passing Years, threw 20 Touchdowns, and 3 Interceptions. Throughout Salvador's high school career, he was a 2x GAPPS All-Star, 2x Offensive Player of the Year, 2x All-Region Player of the Year, 2018 GICAA High School Football State Champion, and on the 2018 All-State Team.
Salvador said "My main reason for picking CCSJ was my relationship with Coach Novak and Maurek. They immediately got me excited to play for them and made me feel as if they genuinely cared about me and my future. There was also an enormous amount of support from the entire staff when I visited which made me excited to get there and get things started!"
Head Coach, Jason Novak, said "We are excited to have Brandon Salvador as our first commitment for our inaugural season of Sprint Football at Calumet College of St. Joseph. He will be a great leader on the field, in the classroom, as well as in our community. After Brandon and his father visited the campus, we knew he would be a great fit for our football program."
The Crimson Wave Sprint Football team will be competing in their inaugural season in the Fall of 2022 in the Midwest Sprint Football League (MSFL). Sprint football has the same rules as standard American football except players must maintain a weight limit of 178 pounds. The Midwest Sprint Football League will be playing its inaugural season in the Fall of 2022 with 6 member schools competing, with Calumet College being one of the founding members.
