Novak signs Kokomo’s Montes for 2022 season

The Crimson Wave Inaugural Sprint Football team is excited to announce the signing of Kokomo High School's George Montes. 

Montes, an Offensive Guard at Kokomo, was awarded First Team All-Conference for the North Central Conference and the team's Mental Attitude Award on Offense. 

Montes plans to major in Business Management at CCSJ and said "I chose CCSJ for the same reason I chose football, I love all the opportunities the program has for the students, enjoyed talking with the coaches, and touring the campus. I can't wait to become a member of this family that has been established at CCSJ. I am this 165lbs guy who had big dreams which shortly faded as time went by until I heard about CCSJ. I'm ready to take on the challenge and still have hope of reaching those big dreams of mine!"

The Crimson Wave Sprint Football team will be competing in their inaugural season in the Fall of 2022 in the Midwest Sprint Football League (MSFL). Sprint football has the same rules as standard American football except players must maintain a weight limit of 178 pounds. The Midwest Sprint Football League will be playing its inaugural season in the Fall of 2022 with 6 member schools competing, with Calumet College being one of the founding members.
