Flemings joins Novak’s Region Signee’s

Coach Novak signed Jonathon Flemings of Michigan City High School to play on the inaugural Crimson Wave Sprint Football team. 

Flemings, a Running Back, received All-Duneland Athletic Conference and All-LaPorte County honors, as well as All-State Honorable Mention. 

Flemings plans to major in Exercise Science and Kinesiology while at CCSJ. Flemings aid "I chose CCSJ for an opportunity to better my education and life, while also being blessed to play football. I am looking forward to getting on campus and starting my classes and also can't wait to get busy on the field!"

The Crimson Wave Sprint Football team will be competing in their inaugural season in the Fall of 2022 in the Midwest Sprint Football League (MSFL). Sprint football has the same rules as standard American football except players must maintain a weight limit of 178 pounds. The Midwest Sprint Football League will be playing its inaugural season in the Fall of 2022 with 6 member schools competing, with Calumet College being one of the founding members.
