Shegog signs with Crimson Wave Sprint Football for inaugural season

Chicago, IL - Coach Novak signed Wide Receiver Robert Shegog of Chicago, IL for the upcoming inaugural Sprint Football season. 

Shegog, a Breman High School graduate, was All-Conference Wide Receiver, also playing Basketball and running Track. Shegog plans to study Digital and Studio Arts and said CCSJ was the best choice because it "felt like home." 

The Crimson Wave Sprint Football team will be competing in their inaugural season in the Fall of 2022 in the Midwest Sprint Football League (MSFL). Sprint football has the same rules as standard American football except players must maintain a weight limit of 178 pounds. The Midwest Sprint Football League will be playing its inaugural season in the Fall of 2022 with 6 member schools competing, with Calumet College being one of the founding members.
