Bio
In June 2021, Jason Novak was named the first Head Coach of the Crimson Wave Sprint Football that will play its inaugural season in the Fall of 2022.
Novak comes to the Crimson Wave from Andrean High School where he is currently serving as the Offensive Line Coach and Run Game Coordinator for the duration of the 2021 season. During the 2020 season, Novak helped lead the 59ers to the Northwest Crossroads Conference Championship and a IHSAA Class 2A Sectional Championship.
Novak spent the 2019 campaign with Portage High School as the Offensive Line Coach after five seasons as the Head Football Coach at East Chicago Central High School. While at East Chicago Novak led the Cardinals to their first Great Lakes Athletic Conference Championship. He was named the GLAC Coach of the Year.
Clark High School in Hammond gave Novak his start as a head coach during the 2012 season. He spent two seasons with the Pioneers.
Novak has an M.S. in Recreation and Sports Science, was a member of the IFCA for 26 years, and is a current AFCA member.
