CCSJ Women's Soccer signs Highland's Meza

Whiting, IN – The Calumet College of St. Joseph Women's Soccer program have signed defender Athena Meza for the upcoming 2025 season. She is the first player to commit and sign with the program for this upcoming season.

Meza, of Highland High School, plans on majoring in Psychology and chose CCSJ because, "I get to play competitive soccer at an amazing school." Meza said she is looking forward to going to school and dedicating her life to soccer and the pursuit of an education. 

At Highland High School, Meza was all-academic student her sophomore, junior and senior year. On the soccer field, she was recognized as a second-team all-conference player two years in a row and became a conference champion her senior year.
