South Bend, IN - Their second consecutive win of the week, the Calumet College Women's Volleyball team defeated IU-South Bend 3-0 in their first meeting of the season. The Crimson Wave went into their second road game of the week with a 3-0 win over Governors State in their belt.
CCSJ dominated in the first set, winning 25-14, but had two close calls in the second and third sets as the Titans scored more than 20 points in both sets. The Wave still came away with double-digit kills in each set to help secure them another 3-0 CCAC win.
Naomi Mooney led the Wave with 18 kills, a .378 hitting percentage, and 17 digs. Ivana Quinones had 29 assists with 12 digs. Roberta Carlos Da Silva had 9 kills and a .320 hitting percentage and Breonn Green had 3 blocks.
The Crimson Wave have one more game in the week with a Saturday home game against Olivet Nazarene at 2 PM.
