CCSJ Cross Country signs Bishop Noll's Perez
Whiting, IN – The Calumet College of St. Joseph Cross Country program have signed Anna Perez to the incoming class for the 2026-27 season. She is the first female athlete to commit and sign with the program for the upcoming season.
Perez, a 4'9 distance runner from Hammond, Indiana, plans on majoring in Business and chose CCSJ because, "I loved the learning environment and the community that can be seen and felt throughout the campus. The diverse student body and learning opportunities that CCSJ provides, is what sparked my interest into picking this college to pursue my education and running career."
At Bishop Noll, Perez is a National Honor Society student and was a first-team all-conference cross country representative in 2025. Not only did she participate in cross country and track & field, but she also was a member of the art club.
Come next school year when she is with the Crimson Wave, Perez said she's looking forward to continuing her running career as a collegiate athlete, while meeting new people.
