Saturday, the Crimson Wave hosted Trinity Christian College after coming off a close game loss on Wednesday. The Crimson Wave were hungry for a win and ready to take on the Trolls for a full 40 minutes. CCSJ started the game hot and aggressive, scoring 46 points, and went into the halftime break with a 20 point lead over Trinity Christian. In the 2nd half, the Trolls pushed back against the Crimson Wave, scoring 40 points, but not enough as CCSJ scored 38 points to win their first game in nearly a month 84-66.
Noel Mpie led the Crimson Wave scoring 20 points and had 16 rebounds with 2 blocks. Wyatt Hughes followed with 10 points, 2 assists, and 4 rebounds and Ion Falkner had 9 points and 6 rebounds. The team shot 43.2% in Total Field Goals, 40% in 3-Pointers, and 85.7% from the Free Throw line.
