Whiting, IN - The Calumet College Men's Volleyball team hosted Trinity International on Tuesday as their only home game of the week. The Crimson Wave went a quick 3 sets with the Trojans to come away with the 3-0 win.
The Wave dominated in the first set, winning 25-9 with only 8 kills and 3 errors. CCSJ won the second set 25-13 with 11 kills and 7 errors. The 3rd set was the smallest margin the Wave won by, 25-15, with 16 kills and 6 errors.
Ethan Dawson led CCSJ in scoring with 10 kills, 3 service aces, 2 assists, and 5 digs. Francis Hauze finished with 6 kills, 4 service aces, 6 digs, and 3 solo blocks. Pedro Castillo had 5 kills with 27 assists, 4 digs, and 1 block.
The Crimson Wave are on the road the rest of the week, playing at Byrant and Stratton College on Friday and Saturday in a rematch with Olivet Nazarene.
