Whiting, IN - Closing out the regular season, the Calumet College Men's Volleyball team hosted Roosevelt University on Thursday. The Crimson Wave were coming off two tough losses to St. Xavier and Trinity Christian and hoped to close out the regular season with another win over Roosevelt. The Wave and Lakers started off the first set going back to back, but once CCSJ took the lead they couldn't be stopped leading to a 3-0 win.

Francis Hauze led the Wave with 15 kills, Diego Esquivel had 9 kills, and Pedro Castillo had 28 assists and 16 digs.
The Crimson Wave finished the CCAC regular season 6-7 and finished in 5th place in the CCAC standings, making the post-season tournament for the second year in a row after restarting the MVB program for the 2020-21 season. As the 5th seed, the Crimson Wave will play the 4th seed Trinity Christian College in the CCAC MVB Quarterfinals on Tuesday, March 28th at 7:00 PM at TCC.
