The Crimson Wave Women's Volleyball faced IU-Northwest on Tuesday evening and lost to the RedHawks 3-1. CCSJ lost the first set 15-25, but came back to win the second set 25-17 and force a fourth set. The Crimson Wave maintained their momentum in the third set, but lost 20-25, and fought hard to win the fourth set but couldn't finish ahead of the RedHawks. Maria Elena Castorena led the team with 13 kills, Diana Ortuno and Makayla Watts had 8 kills, Rebecca Larios had 13 assists, and Jade Green had 15 digs.
The Crimson Wave return to play next at home on Thursday, hosting Trinity International at 7 PM
